As to wimpy women…

“Wimpy Women and Macho Men” from a previous post here.

Results so far for the women:

Predominant strategy for doing network marketing:

1. Getting customers 84 (64%)

2. Recruiting 47 (36%)

PREFERRED strategy for doing network marketing?

1. Getting customers 67 (51%)

2. Recruiting 65 (49%)

Reader Judy notices women are 64% to 36% ‘getting customers’ now, but it’s about 50-50 when asked for their ‘preferred’ strategy. She asks:

“Is that because women have been convinced by the “suits in front of the room” that what they SHOULD be doing to be successful is “recruiting”. But what they really enjoy is “getting customers and helping people.”

So readers, what’s your take? Is Judy right?

  • I believe Judy is right. Our heart tells us to get customers and nurture them but our mind (or rather the voice planted in our heads by the suits in front of the room) tells us to recruit.

Guess we need more ladies in front of the room ;o)

C’mon ladies, let’s shift that paradigm!

  • It helps to have a company that allows its members, men or women to operate their businesses in the manner that works best for them.

Let people do what they enjoy and what comes naturally and they will have a much better chance of success.

  • Brenda, I liked your answer.
And I’d like to ask Network Marketers here:

What kind of business you are doing? Is it Multi Level Marketing or Direct Sales? Why we are in this kind of business?

How you can sell more products for your company and help many people with their problems? Just you, by yourself or with a team.

What is your goal in this business? Just to serve few customers and make few hundreds or to build empire and sell a lot of products to thousands happy customers and distributors that have there own successes big or small.

Who is more loyal to your company product? Customers or distributors that make even small money in the business?

    And the last question:
Is it possible to be the Leader in MLM business and have focus on customers?
If your are not looking for distributors, they will not come, if you are not teaching your distributors to look for new partners, they will not bring them to your team.
Where will be your business in few years? And where will be your free time with family, and your residual income (and your distributors too)?

I do like to serve my customers, but I fill a huge responsibility to help my partners to build their own business and I like feminine dresses.
