The Google ads are gone from the very right side this blog…the MLM messages were just too negative, promisey and hypey. So now it’s back all Orange Ads.
I created Orange Ads for the Network Marketing Central community a year or so ago.
Two reasons: Cheaper than Google (.29/click versus about $2/click for similar ads), and the Orange ads are way less hypey and negative than the Google MLM type ads. Not perfect, but better.
I’m thinking of opening Orange Ads up to folks who are not iGaggle/NMC members. They’re an extra charge anyway, so that’s not a problem. (Probably make them available to non-NMC/iGaggle members for .39/click and available in lots of 100 clicks @ $39, still about 1/6th of the cost of similar Google ads).
The sites the Orange Ads go to now are non-screaming and mostly personable – they’re all member sites from the Network Marketing Central community. We can now however, point the ads to other sites. Thing is, I’m not too keen on having my readers end up on some hypey, screaming or negative site with their MLM get-rich-here-pitch.
Your thoughts? Shall I make Orange Ads open to non-members provided they go to sites that don’t embarrass everyone? Mostly likely .39/click for non members.
To check out an iGaggle/NMC membership for a three day trial, go here. They get your cc info, but they don’t charge until AFTER the three days, if you stick. Of course you have to register and confirm your email, first.

I think it’s a good idea, if the ads rotate on a fair basis. The ad Dissatisfied MLMers is always at the top and certain other ones always seem be there no matter how many times you refresh the bag.
I think it should be a level playing field.
Good riddance Google Ads. I thought the 30 days would never pass. I would be OK with outsiders using the Orange Ads as long as they followed the New School principles. If not, then they just become a cloned Google Ad. NMC and IGaggle were designed to be a “safe place” for us and I believe we need to “stay in the box” in this area.
I agree with Carol. My vote would be Orange Ads stay within the NMC community. My thinking is that in order for an outsider to ‘follow New School principles’ he/she would have to be a part of the community.
