Getting rich: What are the two qualifications?

In an email I sent out today, I offered $100 cash to someone who clicked here, watched the vid, and signed up to get the side vid. (No cost, of course.)

I’ll pick the $100 cash winner from one of the folks that my tracking software shows clicked on this link and signed up for the cool vid – nice little freebie in any case.

NEWS FLASH: HERE IS THE WINNER OF THE $100. This is an email I took from my tracking software. I don’t know who it is, so please announce yourself on the blog (Use Comments below) so I can PayPal you $100. mannatec[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][at]msn[dot]com

We’ll also run a blog contest about this vid. Ten readers get a chance to win $100 worth of stuff (your choice) in the Klaver General Store.

Why am I so hot for you to see this?

Because of the simplicity of this guy’s answer to questions that drive us nuts. Like, how come I’m not rich yet? And that doh-doh IS?

Here’s what to do to win $100 trip to my store:

In this 25 minute video, Frank discusses the four secrets of ‘getting rich.’ Based on his own rise from a nobody with no money, to a big and pretty rich Internet Marketing Guru.

(First five minutes he gives you a tour of his beautiful house. Fun.)

Contest Question:
After the home tour (ab 5 mins) Frank sits down and says that the first secret to getting rich is to know the ‘outcome’ you want. Like, why are you doing your business?

Most people on my hundreds of calls say something like, “I want to be rich.” Or “I want to be financially independent.” And of course, no one who says those things is either rich or independent.

Frank then ads two qualifications to make your stated outcome show you the path to getting that outcome: What are they?

1. Your outcome has to be extremely ___________

2. For the outcome to happen, you have to _________________

Bonus question: Why does he say #2 matters so much?

Contest ends Tuesday 3PM Eastern Time. Up to ten of the respondents who get this right will win the Gift Certificate to go shopping in the Klaver General Store.

Use the ‘comments’ below. You do not need an account. You can use “Anon” if you like and add your name/email in the comment box.

On Wednesday, December 17, about 3PM Eastern Time, I’ll announce the winners of the $100 gift certificate here. SO come back and see if you won…AND to review the responses.

Next: If you get this exercise, the next trick is how to make it happen. And I’ll show you that very thing.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

  • 1. Be clear about how much you want to make in 2009, then by month, then by day.

    2. believe you can do it.

    3. successful people all believe the can do it.

  • Hi Kim,

    Here are my answers.

    1. Your outcome has to be extremely:

Developed. Create a detailed, specific plan of action. Know exactly what you want and the steps you need to take each day to get there.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to:

    Believe it.

Bonus question: Why does he say #2 matters so much?

Answer: A rich person would never pursue a goal that they didn’t believe in, and it’s important to adopt the belief systems of the rich, to become rich.

If you lack belief, you’re more likely to quit at the first sign of adversity and go looking for greener pastures. It’s easy to quit when you never believed it would work out to begin with.

  • Hi Kim,

    Here are my answers:

Your outcome has to be extremely…
practiced in your mind several times a day. (Usually a certain amount of money).

For the outcome to happen, you have to give something of value in return for what you seek.

  • 1) Your outcome has to be extremely SPECIFIC. You must know your specific outcome, and develop a plan of action to get it.

    2) For the outcome to happen, you have to BELIEVE that what you’re doing is going to work.

    3) #2 matters so much because it is that belief that allows us to continue with what we’re doing, making any necessary adjustments along the way, rather than simply quitting, giving up or moving on to the next project. It allows us to stay on target and achieve our goals.

  • Outcome = Objective=CRYSTAL CLEAR!

    Must be MOTIVATED..Must be HUNGRY!

Let’s face it…in a world of opportunity, who’s looking out for us? Pay now or Pay later..it’s later than we think!

We’re ready to get started with Mr. Kern’s course…where do we sign up?

  • 1-Your outcome has to be very measurable and easy to adjust.

2-For the outcome to happen, you can bet on is change. Betting on your brand and your personal projects.

BÔNUS – For you to be rich you need to be above average. Average rarely leads to growth.

  • 1. well drawn, paying particular attention to daily, weekly and monthly totals

    2. develop a strong focus that will help you to avoid daily distractions

Bonus..#2 matters because it helps us reinforce our commitment to our goal and that allows us to do the necessary hard work with less procrastination

  • 1, Know your outcome. Know the daily, weekly and monthly numbers that you are trying to hit. Develope your outcome with a plan of action to get it.

2.Believe that what you are doing is going to work. This is important because if you have a “no matter what” belief in your target, you will persist with it regardless; a not “if” but “when” it happens. You will not be derailed, just redirected forward.

    Great video, thanks, Kim!

  • 1. Your outcome has to be extremely important and detailed. Modeling after those that have already become rich.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to write down what you want and know exactly what it is you want and have a plan of action and know in your heart that it’s going to work, and work hard to get it.

Bonus question: Why does he say #2 matters so much? Because if you do all of this you will be loving what you do and it will not feel like work, you will be inspired and your outcome will happen

  • your outcome has to be specific.

you have to have a plan of action.

you have to believe that what you are doing is going to work — why would you spend time on something that wasn’t going to work, right?

  • Kim,
Thank you for the video, it’s very exciting.
    1) Your outcome has to be specific, how much you want for 2009 and then break it down by month and then by week and then by day. Begin to develop aplan of action to do it!
2)For the outcome to happen, you have to have unshakeable belief and work your butt off because it’s fun and you know it’s going to happen.
Bonus: number 2 matters so much because that’s what rich people do!

  • Hi Kim,

    Thanks for the recommendation.

    1. Your outcome has to be extremely SPECIFIC.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to DEVELOP A PLAN OF ACTION TO GET IT.

He says #2 matters so much because WHEN YOU KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT WHAT YOU ARE DOING WILL GET YOU YOUR OUTCOME, YOU WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!

  • Interesting.
    1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to believe that what you are doing is going to work.

Bonus: Step #2 is important because if you truly believe that your outcome is going to work you don’t mind working toward that outcome. You will happily work harder because you know what is in the pot at the end of the rainbow. And you truly believe that what you are doing will get you there.

    Very good video.

  • 1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific. Frank said we should develop our outcome with specificity, and then develop a plan of action to get it.

    2. For the outcome to happen, we have to believe with unquestioning faith that what we are doing is going to work.

Bonus question: Nunber 2 matters because truly sucessful people always believe that what they are doing is going to work. Rich people don’t start pursuing something that they don’t believe in. They wouldn’t waste their time that way. Neither should we. If we strongly believe what we’re doing will work, we’ll stick with it until the end, being unphased by external events. Also, staying on target will allow us to adjust course, tweaking our plan here and there, until we hit that target.

  • 1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to have a plan of action and an unquestioning faith that it will happen.

Number 2 is of ultra-importance because it will carry you through when things aren’t so easy and you’re tempted to sabotage yourself/give up. A decision to go for it and a “no matter what” attitude will deliver the outcome.

  • 1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific (developed, written down, and begin plan of action to get it).

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to work as long/hard as it takes and stay on your belief/action course.

Bonus: Why #2 matters so much is that is what the “rich” do.

  • Kim… I love this guy!! I love his spirit of giving.. his humor and obviously he’s having FUN! And making money!!!
He definitely speaks my language and is right on the money.
I know because these 4 things I did in the ’80s… all of them and it worked big time for me..
I have just gotten rusty and “forgot” some important pieces.
And he has given me those pieces in such a clear and concise manner.
He got my attention and held it.
My turn to listen for sure.
    Anyway..

    To Get Rich…
    # 1
    I must …
-Develop my outcome.. and must be very specific.. no”I wanna make lots of money , I wanna be rich etc.”
-I must write down what my outcome is to be the 1st 3 Months of 2009
-I must know my numbers … precisely
-If my desired outcome for the year is…$200,000 a year.. how does that translate to in a month, a day..
    – Know these numbers and keep them in my mind and deep down all the time

    # 2 For my Outcome to happen..
-I must develop a plan of action and must know.. deep down..that this plan will work.
-I must be certain that this is going to work for me and have it vividly in mind.
(no one can change my mind)
-Knowing all this.. that it is going to work…

    A Question…
    -How hard would I work?
-How many hours a day would I work , how much work would I put into it if I truly believed and knew deep down that this plan I had developed would work for me..
-.I would work… as long as it takes!!!

    # 2 is critical because if I KNEW deep down inside that it was going to work..I wouldnt get sidetracked and

-distracted by ANYTHING… sometimes really to avoid getting anything done ( something for me to really .
-examine and observe about myself?) ..

    -.Also.. Frank says..

    …that if we get # 1 and # 2 it’s not hard work… but FUN!

Thanks so much for offering this video.
I waited til last eve to view it. Almost missed it 🙂

  • Hi Sheila here.
#1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific. Don’t be vague. Write down what you want to do being specific with what you want to do through out the year, month, or weeks.

#2. For the outcome to happen, you have to believe that what you are going to do is going to work.

Bonus question: Rich people believe that their plan is going to work and they stick with it.

  • Harv says
1.’Have a very specific and detailed
goal with a mapped out plan, based
upon realistic.and very achievable goals that you want

    2. It is your passion and you believe in it and it will come to pass…what would you attempt if you knew it cannot fail? Successfull people believe in themselves
Bonus question ..this clear focus of your goal will cause you to get going and track you progress
and do what it takes to succeed with modifications as needed along
the way and as you have little success your confidence grows as
you grow and change for the better.

  • 1. Your outcome has to be extremely specific. Don’t be vague. Write down what you want to do being specific with what you want to do through out the year, month, or weeks.

    2. For the outcome to happen, you have to believe that what you are going to do is going to work.

  • Number 1 he says be specific. That goes back to the “What are your goals”. List a goal that you are passionate about and then plan how you are going to reach that goal. I guess that is part of the answer to Number 2.

It matters because without a reason, a goal, you won’t achieve what you want.

  • What an amazing video. I think I’ll bookmark it so I can watch again if I need a refresher.

    To Get Rich…
    # 1
    one needs to
    * be specific with the outcome you want
    * WRITE DOWN that specific thing you want, with a time window of when it will happen.
    * figure out your numbers, like how well things are working (or not working)
    * translate the specific income you want to create into a month
-If my desired outcome for the year is…$200,000 a year.. how does that translate to in ly and daily amount. Then KEEP THAT in front of your awareness.

    # 2 If your outcome is to actually arrive on your doorstep,

    * PLAN OUT what you’ll do. And (this is key) BELIEVE that implementing the plan will work. If you simply ‘think it might work’ you’ll never put your heart into it. Frank does not say HOW to accomplish this, but he is clear that successful people DO believe their plan will work. That helps them to not be distracted or get off track.

[Personally, I am putting up a note on t]he wall that says “If I KNEW this would work, how hard would I work to put it into place?” I found that especially powerful! Since I don’t already believe that, anytime doubt or distraction comes up, I’ll see what it is about and clear it out of my way.

From this perspective, it sure is a lot more fun (Frank says that too, and he sure looks like HE is having fun).
