“Users detested “marketese”; the promotional writing style with boastful subjective claims (“hottest ever”) that currently is prevalent on the Web. Web users are busy: they want to get the straight facts. Also, credibility suffers when users clearly see that the site exaggerates.”
Is marketese driving your readers away? Quick: scan for any “detested marketese” in your blog or social website.
Today hype sales letters over the web is so common and it is sort of over used.
It does not attract reader any more because I looking at the format, we all know that it is selling something to us.
I prefer to more down to earth tyoe of communication over the blog or website to build credibility
