One big mistake I’ve seen a few new bloggers do recently is spam their entire address book with their blog posts. Use common sense and simply NOTIFY your list of your blog. If they WANT to go there and subscribe to the posts, they will.
Don’t get caught up in the excitement of having a blog and become the spammer we all love to hate.
Comment on blogs, forums, etc… where your potential readers are and use your blog in your signature. Trying to force feed it to people in the form of spam makes you look desperate.
