Obama concession speech like no other…

This isn’t a political blog. But Obama Barrack’s “concession” speech to his supporters immediately after losing the New Hampshire primary was like no other concession speech. He was a victor. His message transcended his loss. If he wins the presidency of the U.S., a very big reason will the magical language he uses to express his image of America.

Here are the last few minutes (and text) of his uplifting language and performance…Thanks, Garr.

Here’s a bit of the contents from Obama’s speech. Notice the refrain: Yes, we can.

For when we have faced down impossible odds, when we’ve been told we’re not ready or that we shouldn’t try or that we can’t, generations of Americans have responded with a simple creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can. Yes, we can. Yes, we can.

It was a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destiny of a nation: Yes, we can.

It was whispered by slaves and abolitionists as they blazed a trail towards freedom through the darkest of nights: Yes, we can.

It was sung by immigrants as they struck out from distant shores and pioneers who pushed westward against an unforgiving wilderness: Yes, we can.

It was the call of workers who organized, women who reached for the ballot, a president who chose the moon as our new frontier, and a king who took us to the mountaintop and pointed the way to the promised land: Yes, we can, to justice and equality.

Yes, we can, to opportunity and prosperity. Yes, we can heal this nation. Yes, we can repair this world. Yes, we can.

  • I enjoy the three video very much, I just wonder how can I applied this to my network marketing? What should I do to convert this knowledge into application.

  • Hi t. smiling money:
You ask: “What should I do to convert this knowledge into application.”

This is about developing an attitude when things are not going your way. If you read the words, you will see he picks people and movements that HAVE made it in the face of almost impossible odds. Certain groups of like-minded people.

You too, want to find those like-minded people who want the benefits of your business or product, and who will DO something, put in some effort, to get that.

Just like Obama is, and like all those he mentioned did.

That’s what I get out of it. Hope that helps a little.
