Should you or shouldn’t you?

Here are the results so far from the recent post:

Should you share the opp’y and product with everyone you meet?

1. Yes 31 (23%)

2. No 105 (77%)

Readers have learned from painful experience: most people run when they hear an MLMer coming. They all know what that means: you’re about to be hit up.

Yet saying nothing might not be the best strategy either – they might know someone good, right?

So here’s one thing we do in our new little start up: stop completely asking them about them and their interest. Ask instead if they know anyone.

There’s some specific language you can use to do this here – especially over the holidays: Friends, Lies and Network Marketing download here. Enjoy. No charge.

  • If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the New School, it is to ask for a referal.

It makes networking so easy, even for an introvert like me.

I was at the mall on Christmas Eve Day getting some money out of the ATM. A woman was behind me in line.

    I thought, what the heck.

Me: “Excuse me, do you know anyone who drinks energy drinks? We’re here in Buffalo promoting a new product and would love to find people to share it with.”

Her: “Well, I drink energy drinks.”

Me: “Wow, great! I’m actually on my way to meet a friend, but here is my card and a sample for you to try.”

Her: “Can I have another card? I have a friend who’s a body builder and would love to try it.”

Me: “Of course! [Some more talk about energy drinks]”

Her: “Thanks. Maybe I can drum up some business for you.”

Kim, I’m telling you, your advice is like GOLD to me.
