Cool! Read this in 8th grade – don’t remember a lot about the 8th grade, but remember the story and the teacher who read it to us (yes, we could read, but she read so well!). Time outs are wonderful – at least for busy adults. Enjoyed reading it again – thanks!
It’s been a long time since I read this book. I even remember watching a movie of this back in school (too many years ago). It is a great book – so I will have to stop by the bookstore and pick it up. Thanks for reminding me of such a great story!
Years ago when I taught 5th graders to read and to WANT to read, this was one of the books I read to them and to my own children.
