Years ago, I read “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl.
He discovered that suffering has meaning, no matter the situation. His conclusions were based on his experiences as a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp.
Just like my father.
So whenever I feel a pity party coming on, I remind myself that I’ve got a great wife, a healthy baby boy and a bright future.
