“…check out the Top 40 Start-Ups and Top 50,” writes this network marketer…
His new company happens to be #3 on the current Top 40 Start-Ups List right here.
Anita, NMC member, got herself a new rep in the UK, who found her while checking out The Top 50 here ten days ago…
An experienced rep looking for a new home found Debi here searching the list, and another experienced high powered rep found Michelle here checking one of the lists.
So if you are looking for a new home, include the Top 50 Network Marketing Companies and the Top 40 Start Ups list in your search.
The 2 Top Network Marketing companies lists are updated and appear here each week. Check the green links on the left.

I’m very skeptical so I watched my sisters & friends who were involved in the company. When they made money made me see this is a real business. Checked the company out (visited the Torrance, California headquarters), saw it’s International, 25 years old, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities… then I fed these concentrated Veggie Capsules to my husband… I put them in his lunch box for the real test… and he came home and told me he felt energy (Energy is money for a construction worker), and to order more. From Skeptic to Product Lover… this is something I would recommend even if I didn’t get one penny in return for telling others about it, that’s how I chose my company.
It’s got to be something I believe in, something that works for me, something I can get behind.

I can’t believe I actually said “No, not interested” when I was first introduced to this company. That goes to show that you need to have all of the facts before you can make an intelligent decision. I hadn’t even looked at anything.
Once I watched the videos I was sold. All that was left, I had to try out the product myself and see if it worked…that would be my ‘seal of approval’. That was 9 months ago and I am still here ;o)
As with any company I have been with I usually do research about the company, background if I can find anything and the products. Then I personally need to make sure the products work for me because how can I recommend something to someone else if I personally cannot stand behind it 100%.
When the products work for me…then I start talking to people.
Best wishes,
Ilka ;o)
What is the most important thing when looking for a business venture? Yes, depends on what is important to YOU. But…
Would you EVER consider going into business (franchise, or used clothing store with a friend, or convenience store) without looking very, very closely at the contract? I doubt it.
Read the contract. Know the comp plan. If you can’t make heads or tails of that information, contact someone who can. Don’t be a staticstic (like I was) just because you didn’t know you should READ the whole thing. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Education about the products, company, and self. (not necessarily in that order) 🙂

Test #1: Do the products work for you? Try them, see what happens. Do you love them madly?
Test #2: Is it a good company? Is it reputable? How do they formulate their products? Do the research. Is it a company you can get behind?
Test #3: Is the compensation plan good? Will you be fairly paid for the hard work you put into your business getting customers and reps for the company?
I was never interested in my own business. I loved the products. I was an enthusiastic customer who actually built a down line by accident. I took notice when I started to receive checks in the mail. Then I decided to treat this as a business and apply solid business principles to my newfound venture.
Bottom line: Unless the you pass Test #1, the others are meaningless. How can you get behind something you don’t have a passion for, something you don’t believe in? Don’t pass go, Don’t collect $100.

I honestly believe that the networking experience has to be about more than just money. Yes, we all need more money, but you can make money anywhere.
My first experience with network marketing was with a product that changed my life in 90 days after 9 years of being very ill (mostly bedridden). That sparked a burning passion in me to share the product that I have never experienced before. But I wanted nothing to do with networking. So I sold that product like crazy for my friend who introduced it to me. I kept saying I just wanted to help people.
Finally, she asked how many people I thought I could help if I signed up other people to help me tell more people – and how many more people could I help in my life if I actually had some money to do it? Well, why didn’t she say so in the beginning?!
I signed up and went crazy reaching record-breaking success by the second month of business replacing my full-time income running a multi-million company. I have been with that company for 10 years and it is still my burning passion. I still can’t wait to get up in the morning and get into my office and I hate to stop working at night. How many people can say that?
Over the years, I’ve tried to do additional companies when the latest greatest thing came along, but I couldn’t get excited about it so I just wasn’t motivated to do it – and I didn’t. It felt like a J.O.B. and I can get one of those any time anywhere. I think that is why a lot of networkers fail.
I have sponsored over 1,000 people over the years and I found that the ones who love the products rarely quit – at the very least, they continue to buy the products and refer people to me. I have also found that the ones who are ONLY in it for the money are rarely satisfied – the money always looks greener on the other side – so they go from company to company looking for the greenest.
So when I finally decided I wanted a second non-nutritional venture to add to my business portfolio, I followed my second greatest passion – travel – which led me to the company. It just so happened a friend of mine had just signed up with a local group of top money-earners, so it was perfect.
So I have learned to look for people just like me – people who are so passionate about the product/service, they HAVE to tell everyone! Having a team of excited motivated passionate people is the ultimate networking experience.
