Just in 11 minutes ago from Robin of Minnesota…
“I’ve been on the site for 3 months. I’ve gotten 13 customers and 1 rep from the NMC site. I’ve had at least 10 other people contact me for information…it was fun getting to know them.”
Here’s direct from her how she got those customers:
- “A few customers have found me from searches – they are reps with profiles on the NMC.
- “All the other customers and the rep have found me from comments I post on your Blog.
“This Blog is forwarded via emails so you never know how many people will read it. The rep that joined my team read comments I made about my dogs. He loves dogs and loved the idea of marketing Pet Products. I found someone just like me.
“I take my time when writing my comments and make sure my personal values, personality and my passion for my pets shows. Network Marketing is a people business so I keep it real. I’m selective on the blogs I comment about. It’s not about having a comment on every post, it’s about what I have an interest in or maybe just something I can share that might help someone else.
“My advice to anyone wanting to find customers would be this:
Post comments on Kim’s blog and let people find you. If you write in a way that makes your personality, passion and values show, people will visit your profile. Even if they aren’t looking for your product maybe they know someone who is, like what has happened to me. Isn’t that what you’re asking in your profile,
‘Do you know anyone who might like to know about a product like that?’
“Also,” she adds, ” don’t forget to send in a tip others might use to help their business. Don’t think it’s too small or no one would be interested in it. It worked for you, what if it worked for me the same way. I would want to at least read about it.”
Robin closes with this:
“I have found great Arbonne and Candle products that I plan to buy forever even though I don’t sell them. I found these great reps through NMC.” –Robin of Minnesota
Wow. That’s the sort of person that joins Network Marketing Central – someone who takes an hour and writes up this email to me. All to tell people she doesn’t even know how she uses this blog to get herself out there. Posting costs her no money – just caring – and she ends up with good customers who like the same things she does.
How about you? People appreciate hearing from real people who are not on their sales horse.
P.S. To check out NMC, click here. You must register first (no charge) so we know you’re not a spam machine and that you will behave. Then you can nose around and see if you’d like to get your profile out there so you too can meet some neat peeps like Robin.
P.P.S. If you’re feeling like this gal is getting special attention, you’re right. Remember the sequence of events: she went first. She put out that effort first for the last few months…and just told me now. And now I’m telling you. What if it works for you the way it did for her?

Hi Kim,
This is a great reminder that many of the little things I do can add up. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that.
If I can’t do something big then I don’t do anything and then nothing happens.
I get trapped into the all or nothing mentality sometimes and that keeps me from moving forward. I recognize that and this is a great reminder.
Yes, I have to put myself out there to the world to make things happen and there are many different ways of doing that.
And Kim you really do make it easy for us to do that here.
I appreciate that in a big way.
When I read the blog, I also look at all of the comments too. I definitely look for people’s personality and see if there’s a match. It’s fun getting to know people.
I, too, am an animal lover. I have a few really sweet kitties. I would love a product that helps them with their breath (one older cat in particular). And, I can attest that I have read Robin’s thoughtful posts and said, “Wow, I think I should contact Robin and see if she has something for my cats.” (And I probably will be contacting her sometime soon.)
So, it really does matter who you are – your unique personality and interests – and being “real.” That’s what attracts people, not just your products. Just imagine, if you’re trying to choose from a bunch of reps for a particular product line, wouldn’t you want to connect with someone you feel you *know* and and can relate to?
Cheers,
Rani

Hi Kim,
Thank you so much for sharing Robin’s story. I’m a newbie to the NMC community and absolutely love the concept of show casing with No promises and No problems. If I use a similar product or service I am definitely going to support a fellow network marketer. What a better world we can create if we support one another and help each other succeed. Oh yea, isn’t that the business model of networking that some people recoil from? LOL I’m all for more Mom’s and Dad’s at home with their kids and claustrophobic people sprung from their cubicles…that was me. I think you are awesome K2. Congratulations, Robin, for just being you!

I have enjoyed meeting new people from this site. I have learned what others do and been able to share what I do. What you do today may not show up for 30, 60, 90 days from now but it always shows up. (if you do nothing it shows up too) You never know who is listening or watching.
Kim is a blessings and I have enjoyed learning from her.
This is cool to read. Kim’s concept is turning out the best way to do business with other NM people. I had a lady with contact to 10,000 people fire off my message to her contacts. I had people check out my profile and got customers out of it and one is becoming a rep all the way from Australia and I live in Vancouver Canada.
Thanks Kim!
Hi, Kim and Everyone!
This really makes a great deal of sense. Daily action steps make a big difference in the success of our businesses.
Considering the wealthy resource we have in this community, to not take advantage of it at every opportunity is silly, to say the least.
Thank you, Kim, for this great audience near and far.
Warmly,
Marygrace

Robin….
This is an awsome and inspiring story and so helpful and encouraging.
I’ve been participating on network marketing forums online for years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a site that has as much helping and sharing freely as this one does.
I think it has to do with the quote, “The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang”. Kim sets the example with her teaching in her books, her blog, etc., so her forum and blog are attracting people like her who believe in the same philosophy.
So many networking forums are a waste of time, with everyone touting their product or business as better than anyone elses and people all trying to use “one upmanship” or worse, tearing you down for even expressing your opinion. This forum is like a breath of fresh air and I have a really good feeling about it.
I’ve picked up some really good information in the forums on NWMC too.

Talk about coincidences [or ESP]. I had just posted a reply to another NMC member in a forum about ads and profiles, etc. and I said it takes time as well as a variety of advertising – and then along came this blog post.
As a for example in my forum reply, I noted that I get people clicking on an orange ad, reading my profile, going from there to my blog and becoming a reader – then at some later point they become a customer.
Or they read a post on this blog, go to my profile, or to my blog, etc. and buy a product – and some just put a word in the search box at NMC and contact me from among the profiles that come up.
On top of this, today 4 people in my exercise class asked me about ordering sport and/or children’s products….that’s in addition to several neighbors recently becoming customers.
Why now? I think because there is a synergistic or branding quality with “me” being the major constant… I have been doing my orange ads, my blogs and my other forms of advertising and this puts “me” out “there” and customers are finding “me”…
Are these customers like “me?” Not all – some are – the others have come to trust me and my judgment on issues/topics different from my products and that has translated into trusting me about the products.
This was not a short term journey…I am learning patience [that’s not in my genes ☺] and I have learned to deal with trial and error…but more importantly, I am having fun with the process.

Congratulations Robin! I’m so thrilled for you! I haven’t experienced as much success in terms of customers, but I have certainly been contacted by as many people making inquiries and that’s wonderful to me.
It really is all about ‘putting yourself out there’ and letting others know more about you. Like you, I choose which topics to comment on when I feel like I have something of value to add.
I know that Kim’s wonderful NMC community has been the very best investment I have made in a very long time and I’m so pleased to have found a place where I can grow and meet like-minded people.
For those of you who are still deciding whether to get your profile . . . there’s people looking for you but they can’t find you if they don’t know who you are.
Come on in, the water’s fine . . . 🙂
Ro-bin! Ro-bin! Ro-bon!
Hope this little cheer qualifies for a post… 🙂

WOW! Thanks for the encouragment! Though I was in NMC before it began to be highly published I guess I haven’t used it well enough. These week I have tripled my orange ads, added links and began a blog…so I guess now I have to put comments on yours….Let the customers roll in!
Hello, I want to support his great thread. I joined KK to do business though I can’t take US currency out of the US so won’t gain financially. It is great to read the posts.
Robin siad something profound in her article. She said she gives advice even if it seems little. I know a children’s song ” Little by Little, Inch by Inch”. I approach my business in this way. Looking at the whole picture without breaking it down into little steps can be overwhelming. Daily tasks are easier to accomplish instead of trying to reach the top in one week. The song goes on to say ‘by the yard its far by the inch what a sinch, never stare up the stairs just step up the step’ Robin was right on to give just the little advice. It helps us accomplish the little tasks that lead us to the top.
This is a great place to mingle with others. I have met so many nice people through the NMC site. I truly appreciate your hard work, Kim, to have a safe place for us to congregate and share ideas. Thanks, Kathy
This is a great example of how just being yourself, sharing your thoughts from a real person in the real world. No hype, no promises.
No Problems.
Way to go Robin. Way we all have such success.

Great job Robin. You never know who you’re going to meet or where you’ll meet them. I learned a lot from your story and feel really encouraged to keep doing what I’m doing.
Thanks to everyone for your encouraging comments and I love this blog.
Hi all, It’s Robin from Minnesota.
I want to thank you all for the kind words and nice emails after reading this blog.
I do hope each of you take something from this post to help you with your business and in turn can help someone else.
Networking with everyone here on NMC has helped me so much so I hope to contribute to your success even in small ways.
To all my friends and fellow networkers a great big thanks.
Robin
I know that many non-members are visiting and looking at NetworkMarketingCentral. There are such quality people here. I’ve had inquiries from several of them myself. I KNOW that NetworkMarketingCentral is going to be a great success. It’s already added to mine.
I know how important it is to feel supported and networkmarketing central gives that support through the readings and the audios. That along with my cross network marketing group with whom I mastermind. Thanks Kim for thinking of a way to help us grow.
I have to share that I was really inspired by this story very much. I have already noticed results that I am getting from various online websites. Internet marketing should not be underestimated, it is very powerful and people simply use the internet for just about everything they are looking for these days including various products and services as well as business opportunities.
I do believe in the next 5-10 years we are going to see a HUGE increase in people looking to work from home.
Just last night in a private meeting with people in my local area, I disovered a large portion of them were looking for making career changes. This has been a common topic of discussion in many meetings we have had locally with our friends, constantly looking for a job or a better job. For us we feel blessed because we don’t have to have jobs any more.
Great job on the blog to all who contribute, I need to come back more often.
