Based on the information offered in the Dr. Julie post, here are the results as of 1:53PM CT 4.15.0
- 27% (58) would buy
- 73% (157) would not
This might not look very encouraging at first. It’s almost no one. Well OK, not quite that bad.
Still, how many people get 27% of their readers inclined to buy anything on their web page for $45, based on this amount of information?
Now let’s drill down a little. Pretend Dr. Julie is looking for nutrition fanatics to try her product – people who really value and live nutrition, like she does. In that case, she’d consider her ideal customers to be just those who rated nutrition a 5 – no one else is a fanatic about it. (She doesn’t want to do therapy.)
131 people said they were a 5 on the importance of nutrition.
That increases the possible return counting just her ideal people – to 44%. (58/131).
Is that everyone?
Nope.
But not bad, think?
Plus, fanatics like to talk about their fanaticism…
Two questions…one survey; one your comment.
NOTE: If the results you are getting on your website are better, please include a link to your website in your comments, and tell how you measure your sales results. This will separate out (and discount the votes of) the jokesters who vote to be funny or contrarian, rather than be truthful.
Results so far…
2. To what do you attribute the positive responses she got? (The Yes-es only). Please comment below.
P.S. 27% means about 3 in 10 visitors would buy product worth $45 or more, on their first visit to your website. That’s what Julie is getting thus far.

I think Dr. Julie’s “yes-es” are from people who espouse her values of nutrition and health and/or who are curious to see what her new product offers that others might not.
I don’t really sell via my website (though I am in the process of setting up a website that provides referrals of people already sold on what I do) since my service is difficult to market that way, but three out of 10 is *excellent*! You can build a fantastic income based on those numbers.
I meant to bring this up during the uncertain post but didn’t have the time, but one thing *is* certain, especially if you are making personal presentations. You will develop a ratio. Once you know that ratio you can simply work the ratio to achieve whatever dreams you have.
For example, if your service pays you $2000 per client, and one out of five presentations produces one client, and you need to make $8000 a month, then you know you need to be eyeball to eyeball with 20 new people every month. So you work your schedule in such a way so as to achieve this monthly activity goal.
In the Doc’s case, she needs to find a way to drive more and more fanatics like me to her site. And then we in turn will send others her way and eventually it will take on a life of its own.
By my way of thinking, there are only two ways to make money in this business, prospecting for clients and prospecting for recruits.
Everything needs to somehow supplement that activity. If Dr. Julie has a site that is producing 30% sales for every ten prospects that show up, she is doing a whale of a job. A ratio like that would make her a multi-millionaire in baseball. Now what she needs at this point is not necessarily more knowledge, but more activity.

Just to reiterate the essence of my comments on the prior post:
I said I’d buy because
1) Dr. Julie’s a specialist and health nut, and that’s something I care about. Her drive resonates with me.
2) She seems to not only know what she’s talking and about, but she’s also living it, which gives her credibility in my mind.
3) She’s not just in it for the money. She wants to make a difference in an area she’s passionate about. She’s formulated the product for herself and people who share her same values – just like me.
Cheers,
