Real Estate Pros – brokers and agents.
Here’s why:
1. They LIKE to sell. (No, they don’t “share” the houses…they sell ’em.)
2. They’re 100% commission – paid ONLY on production. They must find paying customers and keep everyone and everything together until the closing at the title company, where property and money change hands. That’s when the agent gets paid.
3. They’re local – every town has them and about everyone above ground knows one or has a friend who knows one – an active one, that is.
The downside…
The numbers are the same – 1-2/100 max will consider doing NM, even part time.
The upside… the pool of people is much better qualified than the usual mlm suspects . These are active real estaters who love to sell. You can stop hiding that this is sales.
And why would they consider your business, you ask?
Because most networkers offer products/services with repeat sales.
That’s something real estate people don’t have now.
We did a call showing folks “How to Interview Real Estate Pros” a couple night ago. It’s up for your listening pleasure. Go to the Listening Bar at Network Marketing Central. Top item there.
On the house. (You have to register at the site so we know you’re not a spam bot or someone with evil intent towards the 400 members…)
P.S. I was a real estate broker when I first tried network marketing – the repeat sales commissions angle was the big thing that attracted me.

Thanks for posting that call on NMC. I was on it for about 25 min.but had to tend to something.
I just want to thank you for posting it in the listening bar as it’s very useful information.
Thanks, Kim, for posting this call. The lines filled up earlier than I expected so I couldn’t get in.
Kim,
Excellent call! Thanks for posting it! My husband is a Mortgage Broker and is listening to it now. We hadn’t even thought of that route. Duh! ;o)
You’re brilliant!
Have an awesome day!

I was personally very frustrated by the call! Now I have this HUGE source of free leads and the only thing limiting me getting to them is my lack of time!!! 🙂
In my opinion, The Skeptical Market Recruiter is a must read (er, listen to) for anyone serious about prospecting, warm OR cold market.
Practice, practice, practice the scripts until they roll off your tongue like hot butter off a dinner roll. It makes prospecting so much easier when the words just come out naturally.

Thanks Kim for posting this. I underestimated the popularity of the call and I didn’t try to get on early enough.
I can appreciate that some prospects are better than others but is there a best type of prospect?

Thanks for the call. Very informative and timely for me. I have started setting appts with local realtors who I already have a relationship with.
I offer a product they can use for open houses as well as new home buyer gifts. I am leading with the product and as I get a feel for things, will move into the opportunity if it presents itself right.
Learned that from you Kim, and thanks!
Would welcome feedback on that approach.
EXPECT Success!

Kim thank you so much for posting this call, you provide great content.
Real estate is a high market to pursue now in 2008 with the increase in foreclosure(s), lack of property selling the market is down. Which is great for us networkers.
