How many companies’ reps ask for “teachable” or “coachable” people?
How many entrenched company reps can say that they’re “teachable” themselves?
With the huge drop out rate that’s pointed out daily in the news around the world, might it be time for some of the entrenched ones to consider some new tricks?
Compare the different way one entrenched, and very big banana, responded to the throwing up criticism I posted here, to the reactions of others whose questionable approaches and results have been exposed here and around the media.
Yep, this was from the #1 earner of our (fake name) “Arhat International.” Here’s what she said (see comments) to my trashing the approach poor Kitty, from Arhat Int’l , had used on Walter.

My sponsor is a young kid, still in college.
I like working with him because he’s always willing to try different things and tweak what we are doing to get better results. We approach the business in a very scientific, systematic manner.
He’s new school all the way . . .
And HIS sponsor is great to work with, too. I once asked him how he closes prospects. He said he doesn’t. He tell them about the opportunity and asks them what they would like to do.
No arm twisting.

That is the way to go!
There are several reasons why people ‘throw up’ and hype online.
One of the main reasons, though, is they can’t handle the rejection in person.
And they don’t realize that they’re the ones who are the cause of the rejection.
Nice play off my last post…
Coachable, in my book, means someone who learns how it works rather than re-inventing the wheel. Lotta that going around… wheel re-invention, that is. After someone knows how the company works, how the comp plan works, & what kinds of tools work then creative is A-OK with me! And I love people who share ideas – even if they’re not ones I’ve thought of…
