Sunday is spiritual day.

Selling the dream. That’s something network marketers do well.
We hold up the winners and tell others how it can be that way for them…if they just buy in. The bigger you buy in, the faster you’ll get there.
Question: How much should you fake it till you make it?
Is it OK to borrow money for that new fancy outfit or car to drive up in, and give the impression that this is what you’ve earned with the business already?
Is it OK to talk about the money you expect/hope/dream of making without telling that you don’t really make it yet ?
Is it OK to point to someone who made $10,000 month in six months as an example of what your prospect could do, without telling that the big fast earner had been in the business 25 years and brought 300 people in with them when they started?
Is it ok to say the company pays 30% on sales, when they actually pay 30% of 70% (or less) of those sales? (You know the old BV/PV double standard .)
If you’re not sure, ask yourself this:
How transparent would you want the person selling YOU the dream to be?
Perhaps let the Golden Rule rule: “Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you.”

Hi Kim: I want to be honest with each person. Because when the day is done I want to be able to say I live with integrity. I would share my story of what its been like for me and I would also share stories of others that have different stories to tell. In the end its up to the person and if our babies are trained well and we don’t let them out there alone, they have as much chance as the rest of us to create what they want out of this business.

What I have found is that most people I run into see those kinds of “promises” as artificial anyway. That’s not what they are looking for and, even if it was, hearing it is beyond their ability to compute. By giving them real life examples, they have a much easier time buying into it.
I share my story of being a work at home mom and earning enough to support my family but only working enough to do that much and not any more. And that’s the way I have designed the business opportunity for me. I’m not getting rich but I’m very happy. Now, so and so does it like this and this is what they get.
Then I ask them, “How much time do you want to put in and how much would you like to earn?” Then I can cater to their desires rather than to what I want for them.
