Network maketing recruiters promise one thing: Money. Quick money and lots of it. Google mlm listings here.
And they get who they ask for – people who need fast money or who dream of big money.
I did that years ago too. But I won’t do that today.
Here’s who I’d ask for today:
1. Someone who has entrepreneurial aspirations, and who wants
-something they can get behind
-something to throw themselves into
-something they love madly and can’t stop talking about…
2. Who wants to be their own boss…
3. And yes, who wants to get paid for doing something they love madly.
Two-thirds of Americans have entrepreneurial aspirations today. Check out what THEY say THEY want most..
What’s the # reason you’re doing your business? If you get a kick out of making a difference and love your thing, go ahead and ask for people just like you. You’ll be the rare person who’s offering some folks just what they’re looking for.
Kim, I am going to use those lines you posted to look for someone (like me! Because after finally finding my niche, my passion, I know what a difference it makes. I was so tired of the companies I was with, I still love their products, but the passion is gone. When I read your blog 50 Top Companies,I asked you how to find a company, their ratings, etc and you gave me the best advice I could have ever got. You said simply to follow my heart and go for what would work best for me. Well two weeks ago I did just that and joined Send Out Card not only is it a product I have had, a passion for, for as long as I can remember, but I can actually do my own designs and share them..a double blessing. This company isn’t just for the designer in me, because you don’t have to be a designer to do this. Women are the biggest sender of cards in this country… I forgot the stats but somewhere around 80%. So here I am a happy woman, sending cards, making cards, making people smile… can’t beat it. I am so, so happy, thank you, thank you, thank you, for the wonderful advice….
