Have you heard of Mplanet?

The annual marketing event of the American Marketing Association (AMA).

I was invited, with comped room even, to be an “embedded” blogger at this major marketing event, because, wrote one of the organizers, “Your audience is tremendously valued by the AMA.” Thank you, Rachel.

The tickets just to get in are $1,500 (complimentary with the invite, of course).

That audience my dear readers, is YOU. They got this blog from the list of “Top 25 Marketing Blogs” on the Internet (we are #10 right now).

Mplanet is big marketing and mainstream marketing.

Created by the American Marketing Association, in partnership with McKinsey & Company, The Wharton School and SpencerStuart, Mplanet will put senior marketing leaders, industry luminaries and top academics in the same room to chat up the changing dynamics of marketing and address its most pressing challenges and opportunities.

It’s being held November 29 – December 1 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.

Although I cannot attend, I expect to post on a few sessions we might have an interest in and will keep you apprised.

Nice to think that we as an audience might matter to “senior mainstream marketing leaders, industry luminaries and top academics…chatting up the changing dynamics of makreting…and opportunities.”
